Elo Loves ~!!!

" Thank you so so much for sharing my blog posts via FB and again to people from my instagram, I LOVE YOU! "

Today i will be blogging my 2nd staycation with my prince at

One of the best hotel experiences in Singapore begins as you approach Capella hotel on Sentosa Island. A private driveway meanders up to a Capella masterpiece, where old and new fuse together in luxury.

The singular locale of Capella Singapore resort and spa in Singapore ensures that a vacation on Sentosa Island is like none other. Curved, modern buildings gently intermingle with both the colonial buildings and the verdant, vibrant rainforest spread over 30 acres of land.

The architects, Foster + Partners, have ingeniously woven the best of old and new Singapore into an astonishing, breathtaking fusion. You'll be received by the hotel staff in two historic bungalows named Tanah Merah, or "red earth" in Malay. Dating back to the 1880s, these British colonial buildings have been restored and perfectly complement the new hotel extension and villas.

This blend of the old and the new, the natural and the designed, infuses every acre of Capella Singapore. Where courtyards using native plants invite moments of introspection. Where waves gently lap against the shore of Sentosa Island, their natural energy inspiring with every crest.

Capella Singapore offers the most spacious Singapore hotel accommodations.

With just 112 rooms, suites, villas and manors, guests are assured a personalised experience amidst beautifully landscaped surroundings. Touches of Asia infused with contemporary design, creates an unforgettable character for each hotel room.

The villas and manors all feature private plunge pools, outdoor showers and bathtubs.

CAPELLA SUITE

There is 2 section in this suite and it is seperate between the relaxing area and bedroom.

(This is the relaxing area)

This is the Prestigious Bedroom

This is the outside area

(Do keep the door close otherwise the aircon will automatically be turned off. Just an advice, not recommended to go outside when night comes as there are alot of flies and it's dark so...)

How about a good time in the their open concept bathtub and enjoying the greenery?

This is the long and luxurious toilet! Leading to the open concept shower room and balcony

Just control everything from here ! How awesome is that?!

pirates of the caribbean? that's the view i took when it's raining

My overall experience was rather pleasent except that there was a sudden aircon shut down in the middle of the night and it was stuffy and lasted for about 1hr or so, the music in my room was suddenly turned off which i dunnoe why... heee... i am not trying to think anything otherwise but it was a good experience afterall. Location wise was alittle outskit and dark at night so unless if you are driving or getting a buggy to pick u up otherwise it's good to spend some time enjoying the room and hotel facilities. Surrounding is peaceful and quiet but i guess they should improve on the lighting as it is really dark with minimal lights around the hotel.

For furry kids, if you are bringing them along, i would suggest to put on a tick repeller which looks like this (see picture below)

to prevent your dog from getting ticks as the hotel is surrounded by greens.... (i will do a review on this tick repeller soon) . If you are thinking where to buy it, it can be purchased from any pet lovers centre and for members, you should be entitled to a 5% discount.

Moving on, these are some information to take note if you are bringing your furry kids along:

  • Only medium sized pets are allowed.

  • Pets are not allowed in the hotel’s dining areas (The Knolls, Cassia and Bob’s Bar) and at the cascading pools.

  • Property reserves the right to require immediate removal of any pet that displays dangerous or unacceptable behavior, including but not limited to biting, excessive barking, evidence of disease, urination or defecation in public areas. No more than one pet may occupy each guest room. Guest will be responsible for all charges relating to the removal of your pet including transportation and kennel charges. Each room can accommodate a small pet up to seven kg with no additional surcharge.
